Is Hell a Place of Eternal Suffering?
Chris Date, of Rethinking Hell, sits down to discuss his views on hell and annihilationism.
What are the Biblical descriptions of hell? Who goes to hell? Is hell a literal place? Do people suffer forever in hell, or are they destroyed?... and why is it important for Christians to have a well defined view of hell? Chris Date is an Adjunct Professor of Bible and Theology at Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary. He is also co-editor of 'Rethinking Hell: Readings in Evangelical Conditionalism' and 'A Consuming Passion'. Formerly a traditionalist, Chris became convinced the biblical view is that of conditional immortality, also known as annihilationism. He has defended the view in several debates and on Justin Brierley's Unbelievable? radio program on Premier Christian Radio UK. Chris is also a steward of the Rethinking Hell project. 📚 Buy Chris' book "Rethinking Hell: Readings in Evangelical Conditionalism" (We are paid commissions for purchases made through this link) ✈️ Visit Chris' YouTube Channel: Rethinking Hell
