Its no secret that Mike Winger is an adherent and committed defender of Penal Substitutionary Atonement. Mike produced six lengthy videos, defending the doctrine of PSA and calling into question the motives and very salvation of those who disagree with him. In our continuing response to Mike's defense of Penal Substitutionary Atonement (PSA), we consider his use of words and definitions; specifically how forgiveness is to be understood. Does God actually forgive sinners in Penal Substitution? Is a debt paid, a debt forgiven? How can God pay God for our sins? Across six videos, Mike has claimed Christian leaders who reject PSA do so by way of misrepresenting the facts, engaging in historical revisionism & teaching unBiblical views of how we are saved.
