IDOL KILLER

Destroying Sacred Cows for the Cause of Christ

The Apostles and their Disciples were faithful to teach and emulate Christ: the Word made flesh.
However, as we were warned in Acts 20:29, men soon arose teaching opinions and philosophy at odds with truth. Much of this has become revered doctrine within Christianity today - sacred cows that few dare question.

It's time to smash these idols, shine the light of truth and call everyone to return to the Sure Foundation.

Darrell Brooks Appeals to Theistic Determinism & Blames God

Darrell Brooks was charged with six counts of first-degree intentional homicide and 71 other counts due to driving his SUV into the Waukesha Christmas Parade on Nov. 21, 2021. After rejecting council and electing to defend himself in court, on October 26. 2022, the jury found him GUILTY of the charges against him.

In this brief video, we analyze comments he made during his closing remarks, suggesting this was all due to God's will. We note how this view of Theistic Determinism helps him shift the burden of his actions from himself to God.

Theistic Determinism is the view that God determines every event that occurs in the history of the world. While many Christians hold to such a view, it is essential this be pointed out... Theistic Determinism is NOT in keeping with Christian Orthodoxy and is a variation of fatalism.

While God does intervene at times, directing the course of human history, it is false to assert He has effectually decreed whatsoever comes to pass. Rather, He created us in His image and likeness and bestowed upon us self-determination. As we see in this brief video, Theistic Determinism allows one to shift the guilt of their actions from themselves to God. Perpetrators of evil are held accountable precisely because they were free and capable of doing other than what they did.
